For interpreters & translators
Interested in joining us?
If you are a highly competent interpreter or translator with proven experience in health, legal or business fields, please get in touch. We work on fair, equitable terms across Aotearoa, and we'd like to hear from you.
Who we look for
The people we want on our panel.
Fluency & accuracy
Genuine command of both languages, and the discipline to interpret faithfully rather than paraphrase.
Sector experience
Experience in healthcare, legal, business or community settings — and an understanding of how each one works.
NAATI certification
All non-NZSL interpreters must have NAATI certification, or be in the process of getting certified. NZSL interpreters hold their own recognised qualifications.
The requirement
NAATI certification matters.
All non-NZSL interpreters must have NAATI certification, or be in the process of getting certified — it's the bar our clients rely on, and central to how we keep standards high. If you're working towards certification, tell us where you're up to; we'd still like to talk. NZSL interpreters are the exception, holding their own recognised qualifications.
What it's like
Fair conditions, respected work.
Fair payment
We're committed to paying interpreters fairly for the skill they bring — fair conditions are part of how we work, not an afterthought.
Respectful scheduling
Clear briefs, reasonable notice and bookings matched to your languages, sectors and availability.
Real support
We brief you for the setting and stay reachable — you're part of the team, not a name on a list.
