Language Solutions Aotearoa is a locally owned New Zealand provider of professional interpreting and translation services, supporting healthcare, legal and business sectors nationwide.
Our story
Built as a fairer, quality-first alternative.
Language Solutions Aotearoa was founded as an ethical alternative, after the country's incumbent government-approved interpreting provider collapsed, owing millions. It was a chance to do this work properly — with skilled professionals at the centre, and fair, equitable conditions for the people delivering the service.
That conviction still runs through everything we do. We work exclusively with trained, experienced and carefully vetted interpreters, because being understood — accurately, and with the right cultural context — should never come down to luck. The business was founded by Ella Addenbrooke and remains locally owned and operated.

Certified and accountable.
NAATI certification
All our non-NZSL interpreters hold NAATI certification or are working towards it. NZSL interpreters are the exception, holding their own recognised qualifications.
