How Language Solutions Aotearoa collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information when you book interpreting or translation services.

This is our interim privacy notice. In short: when you contact us or book a service, we collect only the details we need to respond and arrange your interpreting or translation. We use them for that purpose alone, we don't sell them, and we don't share them beyond what's needed to deliver the service. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time — just email enquiries@languagesolutions.co.nz or call 0800 833 225. The fuller policy below sets out the detail.

What we collect.

When you contact us or make a booking, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, organisation, email, phone number and the particulars of your booking — so we can respond and arrange the right interpreter or translation.

How we use it.

We use your information to respond to enquiries, match and brief interpreters, deliver translation, and manage our relationship with you. We don't sell your personal information.

How we store and protect it.

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and accessible only to those who need it. Our interpreters work under confidentiality obligations on every booking.

Retention.

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law, and securely dispose of it once it is no longer needed.

Your rights.

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. Contact us and we'll help.
